Chapter Philanthropy and Service

One of the best parts of being in a sorority at RMU is our devotion to community service. At Iota Alpha, we put a lot of emphasis on our National Philanthropy: Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. We take pride in our constant efforts to use our time to raise money for the ZTA Foundation. In the past two years, we raised over $10,000. We also like to go out in our community and participate in local service events. Some events that our Service Chair planned for us to do include food bank canned goods collection, Pittsburgh Heart of Steel's Dragon Boat Races, and volunteering at various events through Moon School District to name a few. Below is a picture of one of our sisters (Alyssa Lucas) at the Steeler's Game this past fall for Zeta Tau Alpha's annual Crucial Catch Game as well as sisters volunteering at events and other fundraisers this past school year at RMU.
